Mais Brot (Corn Bread)
Für 10 Personen
330 gr Maismehl
175 gr Mehl
1-4 EL Zucker
2 TL Bake Pulver
½ TL Bake Soda
½ TL Salz
2 große Eier
175 ml Milch
175 ml Buttermilch
2-3 EL Pflanzenöl


1. Mix corn meal, flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt together.
2. Mix in a second bowl the eggs, milk and buttermilk
3. Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until moistened.
4. Fold in 2-3 EL vegetable oil.
5. Scrape batter into a greased 22×22cm pan and spread evenly.
6. Bake at 225° C for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
